The
following pictures display the state of erection at 19/03/2006.
Hull, decks and superstructure are
colored meanwhile only some glue connections need to be smoothed. That
means they need to be filled and sanded.
Currently
I'm working on the
manufacturing of the davits. The picture beside displays the
davits and the winch for lifting the dinghy at starboard. The
hoists are manufactured of brass
profiles and ply wood. The sheaves are manufactured from beech wood.
A few onto the foredeck and the bridge

The transfer boats are temporary deposited at the
poop deck due there is still a lot of work left to fabricate the davits.
... and
nearly finished!

Some smaller works are still left. The
flags are already ordered and the clear coating is still
missing.
The dinghies meanwhile have
been fastended at the davits. The dust at the poop deck shows that it's high time for launching the ship.
... and someone obviously forgot to close the
door to the bridge. Hopefully the master won't get angry :) ...
